  • Observed activities: Story mode, a Daily Challenge and a Portal appear in the progression walkthrough.
  • Announced additions: Infinity Castle and Tournaments are Update 1 plans, not a confirmed live menu in that announcement.

Pick an activity before rebuilding the squad

Anime Realms X supports multiple modes and playing with friends.

The current progression walkthrough moves between Story, a Daily Challenge and a Portal attempt. Choose the activity you are preparing for first; that gives squad changes a purpose beyond simply trying another newly obtained unit.

Keep the immediate goals distinct

Story provides a progression direction, while the shown Daily Challenge sends the player to Planet Namek. A Portal is another activity the player attempts with the developed Jiren. These examples identify different session goals without establishing universal entry levels, repeatable payouts or a complete mode directory.

Prepare a squad you can start, then decide what your development target adds later. If you are playing together, agree on the early contribution before everyone waits for the same expensive hero. The friends guide focuses on that shared plan.

Treat Update 1 as an announcement

The developer says Infinity Castle will involve increasingly difficult floors and a ranking board. Tournaments are announced as score competition with exclusive rewards. Those descriptions explain the intended goals; they do not confirm that either mode is already open.

The event’s date is explicitly a placeholder. Follow update announcements for release context rather than treating the displayed event date as a confirmed launch. Until availability is announced, spend toward an activity and squad improvement you can use now.
