Anime Realms X evolution requirements belong to the unit you intend to develop.
Keep the base hero and that hero’s own materials together. The walkthrough names Crimson Elixir of Eternity while looking at Jiren, which gives a concrete target for that project without turning it into a roster-wide requirement.

A named ingredient is only the part of the project it actually describes. The player also finds a craft unavailable during preparation. That is a reason to keep the rest of the target’s conditions in view, rather than assuming you can finish the evolution as soon as one item appears.
Avoid borrowing quantities, crafting locations or prerequisites from older Anime Realms guides or another hero. If you are working on Geto instead, the stated Story goal is to reach Shibuya. That progression context does not prove that Jiren uses the same route. The evolution overview explains how to choose the project before spending.
Protect the team while preparing materials
Keep a playable squad while an evolution remains unfinished. You do not need to remove the starter that gets your defense underway simply because a future form looks stronger. Gather toward the chosen goal and avoid splitting scarce development resources across projects you cannot finish.
Once the requirements for your actual hero are satisfied, evaluate the resulting abilities in the squad you use. A transformed unit still needs an appropriate role; completing a recipe is not the same decision as replacing every other member.
