In Anime Realms X, leveling units is part of permanent squad development.

The official description connects higher unit levels with unlocking abilities. That makes leveling most useful when you have already chosen a hero that contributes to your team, rather than spreading attention across every new result in your collection.

Keep different improvements separate

A unit level is not the same thing as a trait result, a letter-grade stat roll or an evolution requirement. The progression walkthrough moves between these systems while developing Jiren. Each changes the development decision, so decide which part of the hero you are trying to improve before spending.

This distinction also helps you read showcases. A developed unit may combine levels, attack upgrades, rolled stats, a trait and outside buffs. Its final number is not a promise about what a newly acquired copy will do. The abilities guide focuses on what the attack itself contributes.

Choose a development target you will use

Prioritize a hero that already earns a place in your squad. An accessible starter can remain useful while a more expensive option waits for preparation. If you are still unsure who belongs on the team, return to squad building before committing to several projects.

Once you have chosen the target, follow the leveling priorities. Keep an evolution goal separate until you are ready to gather that unit’s own requirements. Finishing a useful improvement is more valuable than leaving several heroes partly prepared.
