Anime Realms X Leveling: Choose a Unit to Develop
Choose the hero first
- Choose the hero first: Develop a unit you intend to keep using, rather than leveling every new pull immediately.
- Keep the goal concrete: Unit growth supports abilities; trait rolls, stat rolls and evolution remain separate projects.
Level the hero that solves your next problem
To approach leveling in Anime Realms X, first choose the unit whose contribution you want to strengthen.
The game explicitly connects unit levels with unlocking abilities. An owned hero that already helps your defense is a more useful target than a new option you have not yet decided to put on the squad.
Do not confuse every level or upgrade
An account milestone and a unit’s growth are different ideas. The early walkthrough mentions a level restriction during access testing, but that does not establish a permanent cap for every unit or every release account. Avoid treating that temporary account context as your development limit.
Keep unit levels, trait rolls and stat rolls separate when deciding what to spend. A new trait does not demonstrate a specific XP gain, and an evolution material does not establish a universal leveling method. Choose the actual development action available for the hero you own, without assuming that another Roblox tower defense uses the same process.
Keep the squad playable during development
A longer-term project should not leave you without an opening. Keep a usable starter while developing a stronger or more specialized hero, and reconsider a project that no longer fits the team. Geto’s cost and Jiren’s developed showcase illustrate why acquisition alone is not the whole decision.
When the hero is ready for a different form of investment, move to unit evolution. Carry over the same target and purpose rather than opening several new resource goals at once.
